Ingredients

  • Black-eyed pea fritter mix 250 g
  • Water 400 g
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 pinch
  • Eggs 2 units
  • Grated Cheese (optional) 150 g

Preparation

  1. In a pot, boil 400 g of water with
    • 1 tsp of salt
    • 1 pinch of sugar
    • 1 tbsp of butter or margarine
  2. Turn off the heat and add 250 g of the fritter mix. Mix very well until combined.
  3. Place the mixture in a bowl and let it rest until it is lukewarm.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a food processor or bowl, add 2 beaten eggs and mix very well until you get a homogeneous dough.
  5. Shape the fritters and fry in hot oil or prepare them in an air fryer until golden brown.
  6. Serve and enjoy your delicious black-eyed pea fritters
